T-Shirt Weather would like to offer you 'dinner and a show'. To be clear, that's the name of their new record out this month and, as far as I understand, there is no dinner provided at their live performances. I need to check about that. What is guaranteed is a Replacements-esque balance of sincere ambition and self-effacing frivolity; their songwriterly aspirations towards classic rock mitigated by a sense that nothing is off the table.
Bellies! make sparse, sinister, investigative, joyful post-punk – critical theory with hooks. Some Facebook Event band-bio writers might like to make lazy comparisons to Deerhoof and The Raincoats, but I wouldn't.
Dirtygirl spent 2016 being the best band in the world, before abruptly calling it a day. They return now for only their second show since then, but I don't see that anything would have changed.
£5 if you can – if not, that's fine. BYO. Be nice to each other.
