Snake Man — Dir. William Johnston, 2018 — 11.32
SnakeMan is an observational documentary about a viper inhabited island off the east coast of Dalian, China. The island is inhabited solely be a semi-hibernating species of viper, and a small research team who have been stationed there for the last 10 years, headed by the award-winning conservationist Behung Tao. The species is indigenous only to this island, where they feast primary on migrating birds. The island is a microcosm where life, death and and evolution play out on a daily basis.
